Interactive Music Show
What do we do
Modeled after the popular Israeli song experience, we create a unique school-wide extraordinary event of song, dance and fun. The event is filmed and recorded, and is then edited to create a professional video clip capturing this unforgettable experience.
How does it work?
We create a musical arrangement and a playback with an electronic music segment in collaboration with our client to determine the song selection or music genre. We come to the school and divide the students into groups. We teach each group of students their musical harmony, teach a dance routine, and practice it together in a fun and engaging atmosphere. Then all the groups join together in a unique unforgettable and exciting event to film and record the final production with an interactive DJ show, which is then professionally edited and sent to the client.
Who are our clients
We created our first music and song experience for our shul community in Raanana, in memory of our beloved Rabbi. The video from this event became very popular, and pretty soon we were getting calls from around the world asking us to come and create similar events in their own schools and communities!
We have created events for schools, camps, shuls, communities, and even private functions such as bar mitzvas, weddings, and birthday parties. We gear the experience to the particular client and their needs, expectations, and goals. We can work with large crowds such as entire schools and camps, and much smaller groups as well. We are experienced in working with many different types of organizations and institutions, and we ensure that the client is involved in every step of the process, from the song choices, to the atmosphere, the final product and every detail in between in order to guarantee an unforgettable experience!
More about us
DJ Raphi was born in South Africa and made aliyah with his family to Raanana as a child. He started learning how to play drums at a young age. Not being able to afford an actual drum set, he taught himself how to beatbox in order to memorize the rhythms.
He went on to win beatboxing competitions, and quickly found himself as Israel's Beatbox Champion in 2008. During that period he went to a professional dance studio and learned breakdancing. He became one of the only religious breakdancers in Israel.
After winning Israel’s breakdance competition with his crew twice in a row, he went on to represent Israel in competitions all over the world. He founded and serves as the CEO of a successful DJ company (DJ Raphi) and has performed at hundreds of events in Israel and around the world. Raphi brings endless fun and charisma to every function with his DJ performances, popular dance moves, and energetic and fun personality.
Also originally hailing from South Africa, Doron made aliyah with his family to Raanana as a child. From a young age he sang in his shul’s choir, and learned to play piano and guitar. He served as the youth director in a number of shuls, and became the conductor of his shul’s choir. Doron is an educator; he has taught Judaic and secular studies for many years in primary schools and high schools in Israel and in South Africa. He is now completing his semicha at Yeshivat Har Etzion where he also conducts the yeshiva’s choir and teaches the students in the overseas program. Doron and DJ Raphi started and lead a successful acapella group (Kippa-Live) which competed on the first season of Israel’s X-Factor reality TV show.
